I have loved dogs since I was little. I have had Collies, Cocker Spaniels and Dauchshunds. In 1987, I got into dogs shows and breeding. At first, I thought about breeding rough-haired Dauchshunds because, at the time, I owned a beautiful exemplar(Willie), whom I loved very much. However, I came to realise that the character of these dogs probably wasn't on the same wavelength as myself. s a result of searching for a more suitable breed, I discovered Labrador Retrievers. i concìtacted an English breeder, Tony Pacoe of Trewinnard, and this is how I acquired my first Labrador Bitch: Trewinnard Siver Smith (Maggie). Tony and I becamen frends and I have purchased other fine dogs from him, including my two male champions: Trewinnard Tea Caddy and Trewinnard Quick Sight. I went to England to learn more about the Labrador. However, I also managed to get some beautiful dogs from other breeders too: in Swintzerland I bpught my dear Magic Moment of Croocked House (Magic), who also became a champion; Spice Girl came from two Finnish lines(the breeder, Majolino, is Italian); not forgetting to mention the collaboration with the breeding"Acque lucenti". I realised that Labrador Retriever were the breed wich suited me and I have been to take up this activity with such rewarding animals.
